Prayer
"Most men consider the course of events as natural and inevitable, they little know what radical
changes are possible through prayer." -Paramahansa Yogananda

One of the greatest forms of help a person can receive in times of difficulty is the prayers of others. Prayers put into effect universal laws that help to dissolve disease and other inharmonies, bringing forth health, harmony and perfection.
Monks and nuns of the Self-Realization Fellowship Prayer Council pray daily for all those who request prayers for physical, mental, and spiritual healing and for world peace. They are joined by SRF members and friends around the globe who are part of our Worldwide Prayer Circle.
All prayer requests are confidential and will remain with our Prayer Council for a period of 3 months. If you would like us to pray for yourself or someone else, please enter the names on Self-Realization Fellowship's main site.
Other Forms of Help
In addition to prayer, members of our Hollywood Temple Community Outreach Program serve those in need in a number of ways: providing transportation, visiting shut-ins, activities with underprivileged children, providing food and clothing, and other charitable activities. When help is requested, members of our Outreach Program contact the person with utmost kindness and respect. The request is strictly confidential.
If you would like someone from our Outreach program to contact you, or you know someone who may be in need, please feel free to be in touch with us at (323) 661-8006 or [email protected].
May God bless you with a greater awareness of His great love and grace.

"Whenever trials overwhelm us, or distractions try us, or doubts flood the mind, we should turn within and pray:
'O Lord, though my sea is dark and my stars are gone, still, through Thy grace and mercy, I see the path.'
Clinging to God is the key to success: Never give up! Keep on!"
- Sri Daya Mata, President and spiritual head of SRF from 1955-2010
