Serving God and Guru
Paramahansaji's teachings combine meditation and right activity. Performing our activities as an offering to the Divine is a very vital part of the spiritual path. Serving at an SRF Temple is a blessing because in that sacred environment it is easier for most devotees to feel that the service they are rendering is an offering to God and Guru.
Also, devotees serving at a Temple have the support and fellowship of others striving to live a spiritual life.

Opportunities to Serve
Serving Together at the Temple
Saturdays are always busy times around the temple, with devotees serving our temple in many areas, mainly with the meditation garden and in maintaining the place in a tidy and pristine condition.
Please feel free to come and contact the Garden Committee Chair as to where you can serve that day. If you are here at 9:00 a.m., you may also check in the kitchen as to whether they need additional help.
Typical schedule
9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Some devotees serve in the afternoon as well.)
A vegetarian lunch is offered
12:30 p.m. for those who serve at least 3 hours.
