Senior Devotees Group - October
A monthly gathering for senior devotees ages 70 and older, held in Upper India Hall. Each meeting begins with light refreshments and fellowship, followed by a topical study of Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings and a closing group meditation.
The group focuses on the fourth ashrama, or stage of life, disengaging from worldly pursuits and living in attunement with God and Guru. For questions or help getting to the meeting, please contact the Temple at (323) 661-8006.

Women's Hatha Yoga - September 10
A weekly Hatha Yoga class for women of all levels, held Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Lower India Hall. No experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or blanket; water is recommended. Suggested donation $10.
Friday Evening Meditation - September 11
A longer group meditation with kirtan held every Friday evening from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. It begins with the Energization Exercises at 7:00 p.m. and includes periods of chanting at the top of each hour, when attendees may enter or leave the Temple.

Sunday Evening Meditation - September 13
A two-hour group meditation held every Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The meditation begins with group practice of the Energization Exercises at 7:00 p.m. and includes a period of chanting at 8:00 p.m., when attendees may enter or leave the Temple.

Sunday Morning Meditation and Inspirational Service - September 13
Each Sunday morning, Hollywood Temple holds a group meditation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by an Inspirational Service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You may come for either or both services. All are welcome!
The hour-long service includes a short silent meditation, an inspirational talk on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, and a brief healing service, led by a monastic of the Self-Realization Fellowship order.
The Temple bookroom is open afterward, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.
Families are welcome. Children ages 3 to 12 may be dropped off at Sunday School starting at 10:45 a.m., so parents can attend the 11:00 a.m. Inspirational Service. Teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome at Teen Group, which meets at the same hour on the second Sunday of each month.
Sunday School - September 13
The Hollywood Temple Sunday School meets every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., for children ages 3 to 12. Drop-off begins at 10:45 a.m. Classes include a short meditation and instruction in Paramahansa Yogananda’s How-to-Live principles.
Teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome at the Teen Group, which meets once a month on the second Sunday at the same time.
